## Overview

`test/data-view-player-field-parity.spec.mjs` now gates REGISTRATION across the full server
registry in both directions — every server column has a client field and every client field has a
server definition. The DESCRIPTION half is still per-family, covering six of ~30 families, and 48
server columns carry no entry in `libs-shared/data-view-fields-index.mjs`.

This is not the fatal class: all 48 are registered client-side, so they render. What they cost is
the agentic generation catalog, which offers a column with no prose for the model to match an
instruction against, and the UI tooltip.

Measured 2026-09-11 at commit `da989794c`:

- 36 `nfl_team_seasonlogs_*`
- 6 `player_season_*_ranking`
- 2 `player_points_added_earned_per_game_{,position_}rank_from_seasonlogs`
- 4 `team_{code,name,conference,division}`

A second, separate gap in the same index: 66 descriptions name no column at all
(`coverage.orphaned_description_ids`). Decide per entry whether the column was renamed (the
description should follow) or retired (the description should go).

## Plan

- [ ] Write the 48 descriptions, reading each column's definition for what it actually measures
  rather than expanding its id.
- [ ] Adjudicate the 66 orphaned descriptions against `COLUMN_ID_RENAMES` in
  `libs-shared/data-views-saved-view-migration.mjs` — a renamed column's description follows the
  rename, a retired one's is deleted.
- [ ] Extend the parity gate's description assertion to the full registry, and prove it red with a
  negative control.
