# Auction UI polish: remove mute toggle, pad timer, add Overall column

Three small polish items for the auction UI surfaced from a 2022 redesign note. Each is independently scoped and small enough to land together.

## Scope

### Remove mute toggle

The `Muted` switch in `app/views/components/auction-targets/auction-targets.js:107-115` is no longer needed (sound notifications were removed or are controlled at the OS level). Remove the `<FormGroup>` block, the `muted` redux state key in `app/core/auction/reducer.js:27`, and the `AUCTION_TOGGLE_MUTED` action at `reducer.js:45-46` (plus action creator and any websocket event wiring).

### Pad timer cutoff for latency

In `app/views/components/timer/timer.js:15-31`, subtract a 1-second latency pad from the expiration so clients with network jitter do not see the timer hit zero before the server-side cutoff. Insert at line ~17:

Note: a separate memory-leak defect affects this same component. `app/views/components/timer/timer.js:6-59` starts a `setInterval` in `componentDidMount` and conditionally in `componentDidUpdate`, with no `componentWillUnmount` to clear it, so the interval fires `this.setState` on an unmounted component. Re-verify against the current file before acting — the finding dates from 2026-03-06.

### Add "Overall" column to auction target header

`app/views/components/auction-target-header/auction-target-header.js:28-66` currently exposes only position-scoped columns (positional rank, value remaining %, rostered count, bye, salary inflation). Add an Overall rank/value column so bidders can compare across positions during nomination. Source the overall value from the same player-values selector used elsewhere in the auction.
